Oracle Database 12c Release 2 – Release Updates updated

Some time ago, I wrote about the Release Updates for Oracle Database 12c Release 2 (Database ). On Monday August 14th, released new Release Updates (12.2.0.1.170814) which replaces the Release Updates from July.

The new patch numbers are:

• 26610291 for the Grid Infrastructure Release Update 12.2.0.1.170814
• 26609817  for the Database Release Update 12.2.0.1.170814

There is no updated RU for the OJVM RU (Patch 25811364).

According to the MOS notes, some customers had database startup issues with the first RU.

I haven‘t tested the new patches so far …
